sunday night i saw mutemath live in concert with eisley at city hall in nashville.
this is the second time i've seen these guys, and i just cannot say how much i love their shows.
they put so much energy into their performance, and their songs are so tight - musically, as well as lyrically - that i walk away feeling like they've reached inside and picked my spirit up off of the floor... they're just that encouraging, inspiring... amazing.
i wanted to post these videos because so many people say, "Mutemath? Who is that? is that a band?" and it's a weird name, so they just shrug them off, but these guys are different. i mean, they recorded a music video in reverse, then went on to perform it in reverse on tv. that's not very "typical"... heheh
here is their actual music video for their song, typical:
and now, if you're like me - you watched the video thinking - okay, how did they do that? because everything is in reverse, but his mouth and his words are in the right order. surely he didn't learn the song backwards... surely they didn't learn their instrumental parts backwards.... surely not...
so cool, right?
